After returning from a recent trip to Italy, I started experimenting with doing twilight paintings on a black surface. I was so happy with the way these paintings were turning out that I decided to do a series of them. Here are three with more to come. "Beacon Light" is a scene from the Finger Lakes in central New York. The bottom two paintings are scenes from Venice, Italy. Venice is a paradise for painting inspiration!
